Great Summer Stateside Travel

In Travel on May 15, 2012 at 10:00 am

Not all exotic locations require passports and costs lots of money, here are few beautiful places stateside to possibly enjoy this summer with your family. These places could be a road trip or a plane ride away depending on where you live.

Havasu Falls – Grand Canyon, Arizona. The waterfalls and water here are just beautiful against the red rocks. It would definitely be a great adventure for the hiking enthusiast and provide ample photography moments for scrap booking. Just search Havasu Falls to find the best adventure for your family (where to stay, hike, and visit)

Multnomah Falls – is located in Troutdale, Oregon approximately 30 minutes from Portland making it especially easy for those flying into the airport. The falls themselves are approximately 620 feet, these falls flow all year long which makes them quite spectacular to see. At the base of the falls is the Multnomah Falls’ Restaurant where you can have a meal and begin your hike, which is approximately 1 mile to the top, although adventure seekers can continue even further to hike the nearby gorge/river.

Do you have any travel plans this summer and if so would you mind sharing them with me, I hope to travel to the beach this summer, not sure where yet but I love the beach so I am sure I will be happy wherever I end up going. I will be sharing some photos for sure.
