Perfect Spread for Parties

Next time your entertaining at home or bringing something to a friend’s house realize that you don’t have to break the bank to entertain with tasty food.

Make this recipe, its courtesy of Ina Garten and Food Network

Vegetable Cream Cheese:

16 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 2 tablespoons minced scallions, white and green parts
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped carrot
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped radish (2 radishes)
  • 2 to 3 pinches kosher salt
  • 1 pinch finely ground black pepper

Place the cream cheese, scallions, carrot, celery, radish, salt, and pepper in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and mix on low speed until blended.

Then use my tips to switch up the ways to serve it:

  • Serve as a crudite dip with cut celery, carrots, red & green bell peppers, cucumbers
  • Serve with a variety of crackers
  • Toast bagels and use this spread
  • Slice a french baguette, toast and drizzle with olive oil then after toasting add this spread and top with a tomato slice
