A Well Stocked Pantry Part 1

In Food on December 15, 2011 at 4:50 pm

If every time you go to make something, or a recipe calls for ingredients you don’t have you will then routinely spend money eating out or eating other meals without those ingredients. My suggestion is to go shopping to properly stock your pantry, this way you will always have the basics on hand.  I am making a list of what should be in YOUR PANTRY, now understand if I leave anything off this list, please post an item you think is essential in the comments. Also, there could be some ingredients that maybe geared towards the preparing of certain ethnic food (for instance you may have different spices in your pantry if you prepare Italian, Indian, or Polish food so obviously there is some tweaking to this list but this list I believe should be the bare minimum). Also, some ingredients may have a brand name suggestion next to them, these maybe personal favorites or are well acclaimed by regular chefs. Your food will taste better when you have the right items on hand & if your looking to make healthy changes here’s an easy place to start substituting in some Organic brands affor
